Steel, aluminium, fibre cement, polycarbonate, and bitumen. Steel sheets are usually galvanised and coated for corrosion resistance.
We offer Polyester, Plastisol, and HPS200 Ultra coatings. Polyester is a cost-effective smooth finish. Plastisol is thicker and textured. HPS200 Ultra offers premium corrosion resistance and extended warranties.
Yes. Our PIR insulated panels are FM Approved and meet EN fire standards. Fibre cement sheets are naturally non-combustible and used widely in agriculture.
Box profile sheets have flat valleys and sharp ridges — modern and strong. Corrugated has traditional wavy curves and is ideal for barns, stables and rural buildings.
Most roofing sheets are 0.5mm or 0.7mm thick steel. 0.7mm is stronger and better for high wind zones or longer spans. Wall cladding can use 0.5mm.
Yes, in insulated or habitable buildings. Use a breathable membrane to allow vapour to escape. In uninsulated barns or sheds, Dripstop anti-condensation felt is often enough.
You’ll need an impact driver, Tek screws, safety gear, a nibbler or circular saw (with fine-tooth blade), and ladders or scaffolding. Always work safely and in dry weather.
Side lap: 1 corrugation or 1 profile ridge. End lap: 150mm minimum, 300mm for shallow pitch roofs. Use butyl tape to seal end laps and reduce leaks.
Yes, metal cladding can be fitted horizontally or vertically. Horizontal installs need more care with overlaps and fixings to avoid water tracking behind sheets.
Delivery charges vary depending on location, order size and whether crane offload is required. We offer competitive rates and quote all deliveries at checkout or via our team.
Stock items: 3–7 working days. Cut-to-length or insulated panels: 7–14 days. We confirm delivery dates after order confirmation.
Yes. Someone must be present to sign for and help unload unless crane offload is booked. Please ensure access is clear for a 26T lorry where needed.
Please inspect your delivery immediately. If anything is missing or damaged, note it on the delivery paperwork and contact us the same day so we can resolve it quickly.
Yes. You can collect from our Weston-super-Mare depot by appointment. Sheets over 3m require a flatbed vehicle. Please bring strapping and protection.
Yes. All collections must be booked in advance so we can prepare your order and ensure safe loading. Call or email us to arrange a time.
Yes — many flashings and fixings are in stock. For bespoke flashings or sheet cutting, allow 24–48 hours. Call ahead to check availability.
