Description
Our 30mm Thermocore by ColourClad PIR Insulated Roof panel offers a lightweight, energy efficient roof solution for domestic, agriculture and commercial applications.
These composite panels are FM Approved and combine a premium polyester coated-steel outer sheet available in Anthracite Grey and Juniper Green. They deliver excellent thermal insulation and allow for a fast, professional installation.
Features
– 30mm FM Approved PIR Core: Outstanding thermal efficiency with minimal weight – ideal for helping achieve targeted U-values with limited space.
– Polyester Top Coated Sheet (0.5mm): Weather-resistant, corrosion-protected steel top layer with a modern colour finish that’s film-laminated to prevent scratches during shipping.
– 75mm Factory Cutback: Ensures proper overlap and weathertight sealing at ridge or eave transitions.
– 1m Effective Cover Width: This means fewer sheets are needed, are faster to install, and give better thermal continuity with each joint sealed at the lap.
– Lightweight Composite: Approximately 7.5kg/m² – easy to handle and quick to install for both trade and DIY.
– Multi-Use Applications: Used for pitched roofing (minimum 4° after deflection), vertical/horizontal wall cladding, lean-tos, barns, garden rooms, and more.
ThermoCore represents the pinnacle of insulated panel engineering — where we’ve perfected the science of thermal performance to elevate the industry standard. Featuring a state-of-the-art insulating core, ThermoCore delivers maximum heat retention without compromise, keeping buildings warmer for longer and running more efficiently.
Designed for durability as much as performance, every ThermoCore panel is built with ColourClad’s renowned finish and construction quality, ensuring long-term resilience against the elements alongside industry-leading thermal efficiency. What is Anti-Con? | Dripstopâ„¢ Anti-Condensation Technology
Anti-Con is an effective solution to combat the effects of water condensation on the underside of your roof cladding which if left unchecked can damage machinery, spoil livestock bedding and ruin stored goods.
We apply the Anti-Con Dripstop™ lining during the manufacturing process, rolling it along with the steel through our profiling mill, applying it to the reverse of the roof sheet. We leave the overlaps free of Anti-Con, so water doesn’t get drawn into the laps.
It’s recommended to use Anti-Con wherever condensation should be kept under control, or in areas of high humidity such as:
Chill Rooms
Food Storage
Workshops
Equestrian & Agricultural Buildings
Garden Sheds & Summer Houses
Garages
Grain Stores
How it works
As a condensation control membrane fleece, Anti-Con Dripstopâ„¢ absorbs the condensation and prevents it from dripping down. For it to work effectively, we recommend the ridge and eaves be left open without the use of foam fillers for ventilation, allowing the membrane to dry between cycles.
We recommend a minimum roof pitch of 10° when using Anti-Con, so if you have a roof pitch below this, please get in touch with our team on 01278 557 002 or email info@colourcladprofiles.com.
When used in livestock buildings, the humidity generated is much higher than normal which is why we recommend the use of Anti-Con in these situations. The table below shows area requirement per animal to keep the humidity levels under 80gm/m²/ hour.
