Ensure a solid connection between your rafters and purlins with our heavy-duty 6mm steel cleats. These cleats are designed to provide maximum structural support, available in both bolt-on and weld-on configurations to suit your specific build method.

Heavy-Duty 6mm Construction: Fabricated from prime British structural steel, our cleats provide the thickness and rigidity required to meet industrial and agricultural load-bearing standards.

Pre-Punched 18mm Holes: Save time on-site with our standard 18mm diameter punched holes. Designed for a perfect fit with standard M16 bolts, ensuring a fast and accurate alignment with your Z or C sections.

Two Fitting Configurations:

1. Bolt-on Cleats: Ideal for cold-rolled steel buildings where on-site welding isn't an option.
2. Weld-on Cleats: The preferred choice for steel fabricators creating primary frames in the workshop.

Universal Profile Compatibility: Specially sized to accommodate our full range of 140mm, 175mm, and 200mm purlin depths, providing a consistent solution across your entire structure.

Corrosion Protection: Supplied in a plain steel finish for welding or a galvanised/coated finish for bolt-on applications, ensuring your connections last as long as your cladding.

What is Anti-Con? | Dripstop™ Anti-Condensation Technology

Anti-Con is an effective solution to combat the effects of water condensation on the underside of your roof cladding which if left unchecked can damage machinery, spoil livestock bedding and ruin stored goods.

We apply the Anti-Con Dripstop™ lining during the manufacturing process, rolling it along with the steel through our profiling mill, applying it to the reverse of the roof sheet. We leave the overlaps free of Anti-Con, so water doesn’t get drawn into the laps.

It’s recommended to use Anti-Con wherever condensation should be kept under control, or in areas of high humidity such as:

Chill Rooms
Food Storage
Workshops
Equestrian & Agricultural Buildings
Garden Sheds & Summer Houses
Garages
Grain Stores

How it works

As a condensation control membrane fleece, Anti-Con Dripstop™ absorbs the condensation and prevents it from dripping down. For it to work effectively, we recommend the ridge and eaves be left open without the use of foam fillers for ventilation, allowing the membrane to dry between cycles.

When used in livestock buildings, the humidity generated is much higher than normal which is why we recommend the use of Anti-Con in these situations. The table below shows area requirement per animal to keep the humidity levels under 80gm/m²/ hour.
